Anthony Rory Tran, B Duncan

Starting writing at the age of 8 and completing his first script by age 15, Anthony “Rory” Tran has always had a passion for story-telling and the medium of film and music. An actor singer/rapper himself, he made his first recorded song “Within” on his third short film “Duality” in 2008. Now with 13 short films including the new “Transport” movie, a feature in post, several music videos, a choose your won adventure web show, sketch comedies, a podcast in the works and producing other projects, this man has the ability to bring community and talent together to take on many endeavors. Having also worked on several Hollywood commercials, music videos as well as TV shows and movies, watch out world! Trippy Tran aka ART A Reasonable Truth is ready to make a difference.
Director Statement
What if a game could change you and your friends and challenge them to different time eras where in each level, someone has to lose which means they would actually die? In “Transport, a game is sitting amongst the midst of other items at a thrift shop, inviting birthday girl, Maya who is turning 25, to bring it to her birthday party with her brother and their friends. Gay and bi relationships are discussed as they initiate the rules of the card inside the game box: Hold hands. Countdown from 3. Say “Transport”.
Suddenly an apparition glitch appears named Marion givies them clues to move on to the next round, but is everything what it seems or are worlds blurring together? Is Artificial Intelligence a component to winning or losing? Will a change of heart, a sacrifice, being kind or being a full blown narcissist change the results of the levels? A colorful journey into the 50s, 70s, 1800s and more showcase a wild world for our 7 players. In the 2nd half, the AI takes over and morphs things into a blur of what is real and what is digital leaving a life-changing decision for the winner.
