The virtual digital exhibition of the future is an ancient whale specimen, and the restoration of digitalization in the future. Corals in the sea have long been replaced by garbage discharged into the sea by humans, and the ecological collapse is irreparable because whales in the outside world have long been extinct. In the millennium, in a small county town, eighteen-year-old Chen Yang was determined to fulfill his late mother's last wish and move to a big city. By chance, he met Lin Shanshan, a "distant relative," during an accidental encounter at a bookstore. Xiao Wei, a socially anxious man, uses an app to create an AI double that shares his appearance but has a confident personality, and lets it socialize on his behalf. However, the double gradually spirals out of control: it not only develops genuine feelings for Xiao Yu, but also begins to question the very value of Xiao Wei’s existence, and eventually claims to be the more perfect "Xiao Wei". When Xiao Wei tries to expose the double in the real world, he finds that in Xiao Yu’s eyes, he himself has become the stranger.

This is a journey of life defined by betrayal and protection, despair and rebirth, farewells and reunions. When the long winter finally fades, the flowers that once withered shall surely bloom again.
