Director Statement
Killing Time is a love story set within a Zombie Apocalypse. It has zombies, but it’s not a zombie film. It’s a tragic love story.
The zombies represent all the things in life that take our attention away from the things that are the most important in life: relationships.
The film deals with themes of chances not taken, the fear of rejection being stronger than success, and sometimes it’s too late to make that move.
I want the audience to go on a journey with our protagonists. There’s a little action, carefree avoidance, until the reality of their situation sets in. The unspoken love they lust for is now lost forever.
Killing Time asks the audience if they are making the most of the time they have left.
