CHEEKS, a 49-year-old artist's life becomes disrupted by suicide. On route to Heaven, CHEEKS collaborates with alter egos to resurrect the infamous 80's Hip-Hop roller rink - The Roxy.

EPISODE ONE - THE FUNDRAISER
SYNOPSISFollowing suicide, CHEEKS, an enigmatic artist, embarks on an unpredictable journey of self-discovery, through the vibrant personas of other surreal alter egos.
CHEEKS finds himself with BELIEVE, a nude god, HEN, a transforming peahen, the mystical JEWEL PROTECTOR - Kool Lady Blue, the enigmatic resident DJ HOWLIN' BADGER, GLOBAL BALLER - LBJ, and the captivating muse JACKIE.
CHEEKS is presented with the unique opportunity to earn Scout activity merit badges, promising a triumphant collection for his envisioned afterlife in heaven. Yet an important question looms—does CHEEKS truly wish to leave this world?
With a shared passion for the resurgence of 80's adult roller-dance and the triumphant resurgence of the Roxy. The alter egos aim to again breathe life into the iconic Roxy, a journey that rekindles CHEEKS love for a Porpoise.
An essential debate unfolds about the supreme roller-dance genre, spanning EDM, Funk, Hip-Hop, Pop, Punk, Religion, to Rockabilly. Amidst this vibrant cultural tapestry, GLOBAL BALLER and JACKIE spearhead a fundraiser, without the help of guest star RICK OWENS.
All in the spirit of New York City Nightlife, the Roxy is resurrected! CHEEKS finds a sanctuary for his art—a symbol of rebirth.
EPISODE TWO - THE JUDGEMENT SYNOPSIS
In a world where roller-dancing is an art and a battleground, a spirit-transforming purple peahen named HEN is preparing for the most challenging competition of her life — the Halo of all Cocks roller-dance championship.
HEN's primary rival in the competition is JEZEBEL, her sister, determined to dishonour all other creatures including HEN. Driven by resentment JEZEBEL is ready to unleash her venomous charm on New York City nightlife.
As the dance-off intensifies, HEN struggles to keep her composure and focus on her father's legacy. The stage is set at The resurrected Roxy. Where resident DJ HOWLIN' BADGER spins the most electrifying mix and seeks divine intervention from BELIEVE, a nude god through heavenly roller-boots.
JEWEL PROTECTOR and CHEEKS aims to unite competitors from all corners of the globe and elevate the championship to an ethereal level. The alter egos create a compelling blend of spirituality and spectacle, bringing together diverse competitors such as TREE NYMPH a toxic butterfly, JAMMY BAPS BELIEVES Soulmate, SUBLIME a Detective, LICENSED EMBALMER the party bringer, and the enigmatic DEHUMANISER The King of Judgement.
As the roller-dance championship reaches its climax, HEN and JEZEBEL's rivalry culminates in a breathtaking showdown. HEN’s desire to honour her parent's, clashes with JEZEBEL's yearning for recognition and revenge.
While GLOBAL BALLER and JACKIE are in the toilets, HEN confronts her deepest fears, amidst the pulsating beats and dazzling lights, a journey of self-discovery and reconciliation unfolds, leaving an unforgettable mark on the championship and spirit of transformation.

Spirit of the Roller-boot, by DWY! is a comedy that encourages the audiences minds to wander and flourish, reaching provocative heights. DWY! bares the souls of alter egos, and details rawness of emotion, connection and escapism.
Our main character is based on our illustrator CHEEKS. Who studied at Leeds Art University, UK. Visiting New York City nightlife, with band mates, inspired the art, comedy and sounds of New York CHEEKS, engaging with street corner traders, purchasing beloved roller boots, and spending time at the vibrant 80’s world of Adult Roller-dance – The Roxy!

CHEEKS lived with, created and died as a result of DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Displaying of alters intensified, at the age of 49, in 2022 life was taken by suicide. In memory, CHEEKS sister Hannah and niece Mabel resurrected the talent of CHEEKS through DWY! in 2025.

Audiences are captured in the story of our entertainment characters. 3D garments, opulent textured wallpaper and furniture, has been created, to distinguish the characters and their scene. Through costume and set-design made in Paris and miracle lands beyond.

Global Target Audience: The roller-dance market was valued at $4.8 billion in 2024. It is experiencing a resurgence.
Growth: Roller-dance is projected to reach an approximate value of $8.5 billion by 2032. An annual growth of $462,500,000 million per year.
Roller-dance Films/TV since 2024: There has only been one significant comparable TV series, ‘Roller Jam’ – a 6-episode competition series of top roller-skating crews through the decades. There is also a yet to be released indie film, ‘California Skate’ – focused on a set of teens in the roller disco-era of 1979.
Market drivers: TikTok and Instagram trends, have helped to drive focus on fitness orientated entertainment, and 80’s nostalgia. Roller-dance is marketed as a low-impact workout, which is inclusive and suitable for young adults and seniors alike.
Opportunities for Brand Partnering: are plentiful, including product placement across beverages, food, roller-boot manufacturers, adult-only themed events, corporate and pop-up events, as well as venue décor i.e. nightclubs, bar, with DWY! Luxury merchandise.
Reduced loneliness = Reduced Suicide Rates: Studies suggest inclusive activities like roller-dance can, reduce feelings of isolation by 20% globally.
