Jorge Pastor S\u00e1nchez (Barcelona, 1973). He holds a degree in Information Sciences from the University of Navarra. He practices his profession (and his vocation), journalism, at the Ideal newspaper in Granada, where he has been a staff writer since 2001. His career, closely tied to the Local and Culture sections, is backed by more than 12,000 articles in the print and digital editions of Ideal. He has received around ten national and international awards, including the Concha Garc\u00eda Campoy Journalism Award and the Andaluc\u00eda Journalism Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond his work at Ideal, Jorge Pastor has directed the ten-episode web series Tranv\u00eda Crucis, the documentary Silencio en la sala (Silence in the Courtroom), and the fiction short film La rebeli\u00f3n de Bernarda (Bernarda’s Rebellion), which has garnered forty official selections and about ten awards. Currently, Ten\u00edamos un plan (We Had a Plan) is in distribution, and in the first quarter of 2025, he will premiere his documentary Henshin.
He has also developed several photographic projects that have been exhibited in venues across Spain. These include Art Mariage, about the states of the soul; G\u00e9nesis, tierra y piel (Genesis, Earth, and Skin), about the pathological love relationship between the self and the environment through nudity; Red, about the drive toward the forbidden; and Retratados, cr\u00f3nica de miradas que cuentan vidas (Portraits: A Chronicle of Gazes that Tell Lives), about the truthful gaze. He has also contributed his works Inercia (Inertia) and Donde residen los sue\u00f1os (Where Dreams Reside) to the collective exhibitions Phobia and Mujer (Woman).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
