Cecilio Caparrini (Madrid, 1975) studied advertising at the Spanish Center for New Professions. He later traveled to New York to complete the Filmmaking Program at the New York Film Academy. It was in this American city that he carried out his first projects. He wrote and directed the short films A Wonderful World, which was selected for festivals such as the JA JA Comedy Film Festival in Zaragoza and the Zemos98 Audiovisual Festival; and Lower East Side, which won the First Jury Prize and Second Audience Prize at the Seventh Short Film Showcase of Pasaia (Gipuzkoa). It was also selected for various festivals and showcases such as the 5thedition of Festivalito de Las Palmas and the Magma Festival in Acireale, Italy. Upon returning to Madrid, he began his professional career as an assistant director, working on films such as Broken Embraces by Pedro Almod\u00f3var, For the Good of Others by \u00d3scar Santos, and Speak by Joaqu\u00edn Oristrel, as well as TV series like Still Star-Crossed, Snatch, and Alpha Males. In this same field, he has also worked on numerous commercials for production companies such as Tesauro S.A., Garlic
TV Producciones, and Smile. In the advertising sector, he has created and directed various commercials for companies such as SBAYMOTOR COMPANY, BRAHLER ICS SPAIN, and the theater company THE FUNAMVIOLISTAS. Most recently, he wrote and directed the short film SYD, produced by KANTE PRODUCCIONES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De regreso a Madrid, comenz\u00f3 su trayectoria profesional como ayudante de direcci\u00f3n, participando en pel\u00edculas como \u2018Los abrazos rotos\u2019, de Pedro Almod\u00f3var, \u2018El mal ajeno\u2019, de Oscar Santos, o \u2018Hablar\u2019, de Joaqu\u00edn Oristrel, y en series de televisi\u00f3n como \u2018Still Star Crossed, \u2018Snatch\u2019 o Machos Alfa. Igualmente, en este \u00e1mbito, ha trabajado en multitud de anuncios publicitarios para productoras como Tesauro S.A, Garlic TV Producciones o Smile. Tambi\u00e9n en materia de publicidad, ha creado y realizado diversos anuncios para compa\u00f1\u00edas como SBAYMOTOR COMPANY, BRAHLER ICS ESPA\u00d1A o la compa\u00f1\u00eda teatral THE FUNAMVIOLISTAS.
